We finally got fed up with waiting and waiting for other people to produce the puppets needed to film our shows so we went out and got books, materials, patterns, first aid kits and now we have entered the wonderful world of MAKING PUPPETS! So first things first, Our community fanzone got an overhaul, and a facelift. Late last week Loki broke the old site and lost all the databases, so this site had to be rebuilt from the ground up. What your seeing here is the end result of all the hard work of the code monkeys, Plus I have to say this version looks so much better then the last one! Loki has been on the road allot this week (doing what I have no clue) I've been stuck playing secretary this week at the WickedPuppets HQ and well lots of phone calls to field (most from bill collectors) one of the calls that came through was one informing us that Big Daddy Fox would be ready to join us soon, also Fried Fred & Disclaimer Monster are also almost ready to be picked up. The studio is getting a revamp, were not sure why, but I have heard whispers about something big in the works, I'll fill you in more when I know more, BUT so far I CAN say that there is a new table top in the studio / recording room. The podcast has been delayed for another week (See Terry's news post about that) and last but deff not least, a box arrived from Puppets By Cher yesterday, and inside the box was Big Daddy Fox's outfit! (I wonder if that means he's sitting somewhere naked? I guess only time will tell. There is no debut podcast this week! wanna know why? Well as much as I would just LOVE to blame Loki for everything, I can't.... See first one of the two guys we were supposed to interview was "too busy" to talk to us on the phone, THEN it turns out that Loki has not finished putting all of the studio office back together since he dismantled everything a few weeks ago. Melvin and I were going to just say fuck it and do a podcast less Dan Rackley's interview until we sat down to record and OPPS nothing works. go figure. We find ourselves on the horns of a crisis.... well ok it's not THAT bad, but we are clearly torn on how to handle our upcoming Podcast issue. Originally we planned on creating a weekly 1 hour "Radio Show" hosted by Melvin The Monster & Terry The Rotten Tooth, BUT we started hunting around the web and looking at TONS of other podcasts and we found something that disturbed us..... MOST of the Podcasts we found were VIDEO, Now thats all fine and dandy really.... Oh my GOD, did I just use the words FINE AND DANDY????? AHEM anyway, Video is fine, however between taping, editing it would be highly time consuming not too mention that a 1 hour weekly video podcast would KILL our bandwidth supply the size of the files alone (with decent quality) would be around 90mb each file or more.
